Dohrmann Cattle Company is located in the rolling grasslands northwest of Taylor, North Dakota.  Our ranch was established in 1882.  Janet grew up on a registered Angus Ranch and in 1984 when Janet and L.J. were married, she brought with her 15 registered Angus cows..  From those 15 registered cows, our entire herd has been built.

We AI our cows for 21 days after which they are turned out to pasture with a bull.

Our annual bull sale is held the second Saturday in March at Kist Livestock, Mandan, North Dakota.  The bulls are fed a high roughage ration and long hay with no silage.

Each year we strive to offer the top genetics from our herd that will assist in keeping our customers operations profitable. Profitability is a top priority for us as well as our customers.  Our success is dependent on our customers success.

We also have a branded beef program through which we sell our own home raised beef.
